Card Night

Unfortunately, Game Night has to be canceled for a while due to Science in the Summer and our upcoming Author Visit.
Tyler McCombs, Bubble Added

It's too short notice for today, but on the 22nd and the 25th of July we will have "Card Night" in the Boardroom in place of Game Night.  For this activity, feel free to bring any type of card game, be it Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic the Gathering, or even Old Maid.  Game Night will be back to normal on Friday, July 31st.

If you would like to sign up for the Super Smash Bros tournament, I can register you up for that this Friday at Game Night.  This event is intended for teens going into grades 6-12 but there is wiggle room for younger participants.

NO GAME DAY TUES 7/15/2014

Unfortunately there will be no Game Day today.  The Hip Hop and Breakdancing Program will be using the Community Room during normal Game Day hours.  Feel free to join us for Breakdancing, or come back on Friday, when Game Day will resume as normal (4pm in the Community Room).

No Game Night Friday July 4th

Just a reminder: The library will be closed tomorrow and Saturday (July 4th and 5th).  This means that there will be no Game Night tomorrow.

Game Night will be back on Tuesday, July 8th, but will be a little late as we finish cleaning up the Robot Building supplies.

Gamer Suggestions for Game Nights and Game Days

Some suggestions I've received:

Smash Brothers Tournament: A tournament focused on Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Card Day: Bring in trading card game decks then hang out and play/trade. For example, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Vanguard, and Pokemon cards will likely be featured at this event.

Let me know in the comments section what you think or if you have ideas or suggestion of your own for gaming events, tournaments, and prizes that you'd like to see at your library.
