The End of Elena

Tomorrow night is the last night you'll be seeing me until ComicCon (Aug 1st).  It's been fun hanging out with you and getting to know you.  I hope I see you again when I come back for the convention!

Game Night and Yu-Gi-Oh!

I'm afraid there won't be any game night tonight.  The Community Room is being used for voting!  Sorry I didn't  make a heads-up post earlier.

In other news, I have more information on the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament.  It will be held on Friday, June 26th at 12:00pm.  I'll keep you posted!

See you Friday! :)

No Game Night Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

Hello again!  Here's a head's up for you: there will be no Game Night on Tuesday!  I am going to be out of town that day/night.  It's a shame we don't have any official volunteers helping me out so we can still have Game Night when I'm not around... hint hint!!

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

The library will be closed this Friday, April 3rd, 2015.  For this reason, there will be no Game Night on that day.  See ya next week, and have a wonderful Spring Break!

Happy Spring! No Game Night.

Hooray, it's the first day of spring!

Unfortunately, our first day of Spring looks less like this:

and more like this:

This photo was taken at 11am this morning in Norristown by Yours Truly.

It is because of this that the library is closing at 4pm today, officially canceling Game Night for today.  Sorry folks, and see ya next time!

"Hot Jobs in Video Games"

I came across this book during my normal library duties and thought you might be into it.  This book is called Hot Jobs in Video Games: Cool Careers in Interactive Entertainment and it is written by Joe Funk.  The cover features a Wii, XBox360, and PSP along with screenshots from various games ranging from "Madden Football" to the "Cars" racing game.  The Elkins Park, Horsham Township, and Pottstown libraries all have copies of this book.  With a library card, you can order books like this from libraries like those to come straight to Norristown for you to read.
